After only a few minutes outside, however, you'd feel gritty sand in your mouth, and your hair would be sandy and knotty. It was fun!
I think every big city has these spaces, but they rarely appear on the tourist radar.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03007495939639770792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859004170239227374.post-46218103246561047592012-03-14T04:40:10.588+10:302012-03-14T04:40:10.588+10:30When I was in M.A., there was a girl in the hostel...When I was in M.A., there was a girl in the hostel who used to go to Dubai to buy lingerie and shoes. So till now, for me Dubai was a place where rich people go when they run out of underwear and shoes. It was refreshing to read the perspective of someone more like myself, and great to know that there is more to Dubai than malls, like sandstorms, secondhand bookstores and street food. I particularly loved the part about the sandstorm. :)Pracheehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18131607368234516213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859004170239227374.post-51766846551516403492012-03-13T15:42:35.281+10:302012-03-13T15:42:35.281+10:30Hello. Thanks for commenting, I love getting comments on the blog :)
I have to iron out these kinks, such as photos and youtube videos not appearing in emails. I've tried all the D-I-Y options, and perhaps it is time to contact a professional.
Totally agree with your comment. And I know I owe you two email replies, shall get them done soon!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03007495939639770792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859004170239227374.post-77332476275258131242012-03-13T02:17:34.609+10:302012-03-13T02:17:34.609+10:30It was interesting to read this. My uncle just returned from Singapore and while he and his family seemed to have enjoyed the huge amusement parks and various hallucinating effects thereby, i felt extremely claustrophobic just listening to him. I wish the malls stopped simulating nature and I hate how they tuck cinema halls in obscure corners.
The photos in the post are not visible though. Anyways good to hear of your experienceprudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13503931677032063624noreply@blogger.com
